The next book club will begin June 3rd, 2021 covering Susan Marshall’s book Mom’s Gone Missing. Susan shares her journey as an adult child caring for both her parents with dementia. This book is available through our local libraries (Dwight Foster Public Library has copies!), ADRCs, local book stores and Amazon. Please see the flyer for more details and registration information. Please note that the book club is open to anyone (caregivers, professionals, family, friends, general public), residency in Jefferson County is not required. Book club will be led by Dementia Care Specialists in La Crosse, Jefferson, and Walworth Counties.
Powerful Tools for Caregivers begins May 11th (quick, register!). This six-week program is great for anyone providing care for any adult with a chronic condition. Cost is free, with a suggested donation of $10 for the helpbook. Please see flyer for registration details and more information.
