Marianne Gariti, Moving Forward, National Association of Senior Move Managers
Marianne Gariti started Moving Forward in February of 2014 with a focus on seniors and their families.
The work has since expanded to serve anyone who does not have the time or desire to work through the process of moving. Marianne understands that moving can be an overwhelming life change. Her company promises a sense of direction, calm and confidence so that what seemed overwhelming becomes attainable. The entire team at Moving Forward knows there is no higher honor than assisting families in transition, and they do it with compassion.
A wide range of moving services is available including:
- Organizing
- Sorting
- Packing
- Delivering items to donation centers or family members
- Removing trash
- Arranging for profitable disposal of unwanted items through auction, buy-out, or consignment
- Cleaning and minor repairs
Additionally, Moving Forward can assist clients in setting up their new home by unpacking and placing items as desired, hanging pictures, putting dishes in cupboards and making beds.
Finally, for those who choose to stay in their own home but require assistance to “age in place” safely and comfortably, Moving Forward will help downsize, declutter and rearrange furniture.
In every instance, clients report feeling great joy when they relax in their new home that is warm, welcoming and beautifully arranged.
